Calling all budding film makers. Do you have what it takes to be the next James Cameron? Now's your chance to prove it. You are invited to create an 8 minute short film inspired by Titanic's epic journey from Cobh 100 years ago. 12 finalists will be selected to showcase their work to an audience of 2,000 people and a panel of film industry judges on the 9th of June 2012. The lucky winner will the have the use of a Ford Fiesta fully fueled, taxed and insured for a year. This could be the start of a great journey!

WELCOME TO TITANIC 100 COBH 2012
2012 marks the 100th anniversary of the Titanic’s maiden voyage. Cobh, then Queenstown, was the Titanic’s last port of call. 123 passengers boarded the magnificent vessel in a bid to journey to the new world. For the last century the world has been intrigued with the story of the largest passenger liner at the
time and the vessel that many thought was unsinkable.
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Titanic’s journey and to remember and pay tribute to all who have been involved with her, Cobh in County Cork, Ireland, will play host to a memorable series of events. This event series – Titanic 100 Cobh 2012, will include many and varied events and will appeal to a wide audience. We look forward to seeing you in Cobh to share the experience with us.
